Compliance Issues Muddied as New President Takes Office

On January 20, 2017, Joseph M. English was quoted in the Atlanta Business Chronicle print edition regarding the uncertainty of compliance laws with the new administration. In regards to the recently adopted Department of Labor regulations, Mr. English explains, "This litigation is ongoing—the ruling is on appeal—and many employers have adopted a wait-and-see approach to reclassifying workers as overtime-eligible. The advent of the new administration may well result in the proposed regulations being watered down or altogether scrapped." The full article can be found in the January 20-26, 2017, print edition of the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
