Taylor English’s Michele Stumpe Honored as Legal “Trailblazer” In Georgia

Taylor English Duma LLP is pleased to announce that Michele L. Stumpe has been named a 2019 Georgia Trailblazer by the Daily Report.

Stumpe is a go-to attorney for alcohol licensing and permit matters in Georgia. She was recognized for her leadership in the firm’s restaurant, food and alcohol/beverage licensing practice, as well as her dedication to the industry through the creation of the non-profit The Giving Kitchen, which provides emergency funding and resources to local food service workers. Stumpe has developed programs that help restaurants and bars train their employees on compliance, sharing with the Daily Report that she “would prefer to help people stay out of trouble in the first place rather than always be defending them.”

“This is a well-deserved honor for Michele,” said Marc Taylor, a founding partner of Taylor English. “Her passion and commitment to the hospitality industry is reflected not only in her legal work, but also in her desire to support to the Atlanta community. Michele is an outstanding example of Taylor English’s mission to provide clients with outstanding legal services, while also serving the communities in which we live and work.”

The Daily Report’s inaugural list of Georgia Trailblazers honors agents of change in every aspect of the practice or business of law. Honorees are truly innovators and thought leaders who have made a significant impact in the legal industry.
