Families First Coronavirus Response Act Posting Requirements

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (“FFCRA”) requires covered employers to post a notice regarding the law’s requirements.

The U.S. Department of Labor (“DOL”) published the form of the notice, which is available for download here:

The FFCRA takes effect on April 1, 2020.  It covers employers with less than 500 employees.  Covered employers must display the poster in a conspicuous place at the workplace. In addition, with so many employees working remotely during the pandemic, covered employers should publish the poster electronically on their internal websites. If a covered employer lacks an internal website, the employer should email the poster to its remote employees.
