Georgia's Governor Kemp released the latest set of rules for the state last night. The new Executive Order does not materially change any operating rules for the state's businesses. It does, however, create some leeway from the required quarantine period for persons exposed to a known infected patient. Adopting the CDC's most recent guidance on the matter, the state now permits fully-vaccinated persons and those who have recovered from COVID-19 (in each case, within prescribed time limits) to skip quarantine if they are exposed to a known or suspected infection, provided they self-monitor for symptoms.
