The CDC on Friday afternoon issued a new order requiring passengers to wear masks while traveling. Effective Monday, February 1, 2021, at midnight, the rule applies to "conveyances" and "transportation hubs." Conveyances includes ride-sharing services, and transportation hubs include airports, bus terminals, marinas, subway stations, train stations, "or any other location that provides transportation subject to the jurisdiction of the United States." The only exceptions are vehicles operated for personal use, commercial vehicles if the driver is the sole occupant, and military vehicles.
