Taylor English Duma LLP Welcomes John L. North as Partner in Intellectual Property Practice Group

ATLANTA, GA – [October 15, 2024] – Taylor English Duma LLP is proud to announce that John L. North has joined the firm as a partner in the Intellectual Property (IP) Practice Group. North brings extensive experience in complex litigation, with a focus on intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and unfair competition cases.

North has served as lead counsel in over 100 intellectual property cases and has litigated in all major IP courts across the United States. He has been appointed Special Master by multiple U.S. District Courts for patent cases. His work spans complex matters for clients worldwide, including those in Australia, Asia, Israel, and throughout Western Europe. North’s clients range from billion-dollar corporations to smaller businesses, including solo inventors, as well as some of the largest companies in communications, computing, media, and pharmaceuticals.

North’s practice extends beyond litigation to include patent licensing, patent portfolio strategy, pre-litigation counseling, and inter partes review. He has a thorough understanding of various technologies, including artificial intelligence, smartphone and email security, software and hardware, telecommunications, chemicals, textiles, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and more.
