Peter Jones Joins Taylor English as Partner in Intellectual Property Practice Group

ATLANTA, GA (September 19, 2024) – Taylor English Duma LLP is pleased to announce that Peter Jones has joined the firm as a litigation partner in our Intellectual Property (IP) practice group. With more than two decades of experience, Peter has handled a wide variety of complex civil litigation in state and federal courts across the United States. His practice focuses primarily on intellectual property litigation, but he is also well-versed in complex commercial disputes, product liability, premises liability, and class actions.

His comprehensive knowledge of the litigation process stems from his distinguished career. He has worked at one of the largest defense firms and one of the most successful plaintiff firms in the country, representing major corporations and recovering millions of dollars on behalf of businesses and individuals.

“We are excited to welcome Peter to our IP team,” says Jeff Kuester, head of Taylor English’s IP practice group. “His diverse experience makes him an excellent addition as the firm continues to strengthen our bench of IP litigators.”

Jones is admitted to practice in all state courts in Georgia, as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and the Eastern District of Texas. He has also served as counsel pro hac vice in courts nationwide.

Jones joins partner Kenneth Bruley as the second recent addition to the firm’s IP practice group, which houses IP litigation, prosecution, and transactional teams. Jones will continue to deliver favorable outcomes for clients across a wide range of industries, particularly in IP litigation.
