ATLANTA (April 30, 2024) – Taylor English Duma LLP announced today that Matthew McKagen and Amanda Speier have joined the firm’s Atlanta office as partners. McKagen joined the firm's Real Estate Practice Group, and Speier rejoined the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group.

Matthew McKagen focuses his practice on premises liability, professional liability, and medical malpractice cases. He represents individuals and corporations in a wide range of general litigation matters in federal and state courts across Georgia. McKagen earned his law degree from Mercer University School of Law, following the completion of his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia, where he majored in Political Science.
Amanda Wilson Speier focuses her practice on the health care industry, particularly medical malpractice defense. With more than 13 years of experience representing large Georgia health systems, Speier has gained an intricate knowledge of hospital processes and hospital medicine. Her specialty is complex cases involving hospitals and multiple health care providers. Speier earned her undergraduate degree from Tulane University and law degree from Emory University School of Law.
