Taylor English Continues Expansion with Addition of Transfer Pricing Tax Partner in Atlanta

ATLANTA (February 7, 2024) – Taylor English Duma LLP announced today that E. Miller Williams, Jr. has joined the firm’s Corporate Department in Atlanta as a partner. Miller has more than 30 years of experience advising multinational companies on a national basis regarding international tax, transfer pricing, and tax treaty matters.

Miller focuses his practice on various tax matters and has extensive knowledge in transfer pricing planning, structuring, implementation, documentation, audits, appeals, advance pricing agreements (APAs), and competent authority (CA). He has significant experience in international tax and transfer pricing matters, including consulting on more than 150 APAs, CA issues, mutual agreement procedures (MAP) requests and transfer pricing audits. He works directly with the IRS’s APMA Program to resolve transfer pricing cases and disputes involving a variety of foreign countries, including India, Canada, Germany, the UK, Spain, France, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg and China. Miller advises clients in a wide range of industries, including pharmaceutical, information technology, semiconductors, technology, retail, consumer products, motor vehicles, automotive, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, paper and pulp, building products, and energy and financial services.

Prior to joining Taylor English, Miller was an attorney in the Atlanta office of an Am Law Global 200 firm. In addition, he spent over 25 years as a Tax Principal in Big 5 accounting firms.  He also previously served as a senior attorney in the Office of Associate Chief Counsel (International) and Advance Pricing Agreement Program in Washington, DC and as an officer and attorney in the US Army JAG Corps, where he served as a prosecutor, defense counsel and administrative law attorney. Miller earned his JD from Stetson University College of Law, his LLM in Tax Law from Emory University School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University.
