In an article for the July / August 2023 Mecklenburg Bar News, attorney Andrew Vining shares his goals as the new chair of the bar's Young Lawyers Division.
Vining replaces outgoing chair Stephen Guardipee, who positioned the YLD for success and increased and diversified membership and increased the amount of programming and events for our members. Vining hopes to continue this success.
"This year, the YLD looks to continue as a community where young lawyers can foster both professional and personal relationships while serving the greater Charlotte community," said Vining. Adding that the new YLD Council, with the help of the outgoing Council, is already planning events for this coming year.
Vining also extended an invitation to our general membership to get involved with the YLD. Noting that the YLD has "various committees that provide you with a platform to have your opinion heard."
