Taylor English Continues National Expansion with the Addition of Intellectual Property Partner in New York

NEW YORK (April 12, 2023) – An experienced New York City-based partner has joined Taylor English Duma LLP, firm leaders announced today. Lawrence C. Drucker joined the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Department as a partner and will focus on patent, copyright, trademark, unfair competition, and other business disputes.

Larry’s extensive trial experience will benefit existing and prospective intellectual property clients in New York and across the firm.”

Drucker represents clients in federal district courts throughout the United States. He has tried cases on behalf of patent owners and those accused of infringement in some of the most active district courts across the nation, including in New York, Texas, Delaware, and Florida. Drucker has experience enforcing and defending patents for clients being investigated by the International Trade Commission and has challenged and defended patents subject to inter partes and post-grant review before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He has particular experience in the field of funded patent litigation, helping clients enforce their patents with the help of litigation finance.

Drucker represents clients across a wide variety of technologies, including automotive, semiconductor, LED lighting and displays, smartphones, medical devices, cannabis vaping technology, electronic rating systems, consumer electronics, copy protection and anti-piracy technology, radio frequency identification systems, robotics, internet commerce, data transmission, optical systems and manufacturing processes for consumer goods.

Prior to joining Taylor English, Drucker was a partner in the New York office of an AmLaw 50 law firm. He has more than 30 years of experience in both intellectual property and commercial litigation. Drucker is a graduate of Columbia Law School and earned his undergraduate degree from Queens College of the City University of New York.
