Taylor English Continues National Expansion with the Addition of an Intellectual Property Partner in the Midwest

Indianapolis, IN

(February 21, 2023) – A new attorney based in Indianapolis, IN has joined the Taylor English Duma LLP, firm leaders announced today. Bryan DeMatteo will join the firm’s Intellectual Property Department as a partner and will focus on assisting entrepreneurs and businesses with patents, trademarks and copyrights.

Mr. DeMatteo helps clients procure, monetize and enforce their intellectual property, as well as defend against allegations of intellectual property infringement. He serves clients in a wide range of technical industries, including telecommunications, electronics, medical devices, robotics, computer software, and mechanical engineering. As a member of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Mr. DeMatteo represents clients in inter partes review (IPR) and covered business method (CBM) proceedings.

Before joining Taylor English, Mr. DeMatteo founded a full-service intellectual property and litigation law firm based in New York. He has more than 20 years of experience in both intellectual property and engineering. Mr. DeMatteo is a graduate of Touro Law Center where he was Valedictorian. Prior to attending law school, he designed computer circuitry and radar systems for various companies.
