Taylor English Announces Addition of Partner in North Carolina

(December 21, 2022) –Taylor English Duma LLP announced today the addition of a new partner in the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina office. Nathan White joins the firm’s Litigation Department.

“Nathan is a trial lawyer first and foremost. His wide range of litigation experience as a former federal prosecutor in the U.S. military and his litigation practice throughout the Carolinas makes him a great asset to Taylor English and our clients,” Marc Taylor, chair of Taylor English, said. “Our goal is to expand our firm’s footprint, putting highly credentialed attorneys in the right spot.”

White has tried cases to verdict in both North and South Carolina. He has extensive experience in a wide range of litigation, including contract disputes, trade secrets and intellectual property disputes, wage and hour disputes, enforcement of post-employment obligations, commercial real estate disputes, including issues related to construction, easements, covenants, and commercial leases, landlord/tenant disputes, business partnership and LLC disputes, and debtor-creditor disputes, including representing creditors in Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings.

White has also defended corporate clients in wrongful death and other negligence actions. He also has experience with financial services litigation, including regulatory, government, and internal investigations with an emphasis on anti-money laundering, anti-tying, USERRA, Sarbanes-Oxley, CCAR and Dodd Frank compliance.

White started his legal career as an active-duty Air Force military attorney for 10 years. He has tried over 50 jury cases to verdict and argued numerous cases on appeal.  After starting in private practice with Charlotte’s largest law firm, White continued his military service as a Reservist.  He is a Lieutenant Colonel & Staff Judge Advocate for the United States Air Force and is currently serving as the General Counsel for the 315th Airlift Wing in Charleston, South Carolina, a 2,200 airmen-strong unit tasked with providing worldwide strategic airlift in support of a variety of military missions.

During his years of practice, White has received numerous recognitions, including being named a North Carolina Super Lawyers Rising Star and was recognized by the North and South Carolina Pro Bono Honor Societies.
