This summer I served as a panelist at the GGI North America Conference in Washington, DC. The panel session, titled Management of Professional Service Firms by Executive Level Managers, focused on best practices for management of professional services firms by executives who are not attorneys or CPAs.
Alongside two other law firm leaders, I shared the Taylor English journey our decision to have attorneys serve in firm leadership roles. As part of my discussion, I highlighted the role of our COO Jay Boros and how his non-attorney perspective and experience continues to drive our success. I always welcome opportunities to spotlight the intersection of our legal prowess and business acumen (alongside our unique model) and this panel provided a great platform to highlight our firm.
