Taylor English Awarded Atlanta Legal Aid Society's Pro Bono Award for Domestic Violence

Taylor English Duma LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has received the Catherine Vandenberg Advocate for Victims of Domestic Violence Award by the Atlanta Legal Aid Society (ALAS). The firm was recognized at an appreciation breakfast on October 16.

“We are proud of our team and their commitment to serving the community,” said Marc Taylor, a founding partner of Taylor English. “Through our involvement with ALAS over the past several years, we have had the opportunity to provide legal aid and support to victims of domestic violence who would otherwise go unrepresented. We are honored to be a part of the team of volunteers helping these individuals and families in need.”

Taylor English volunteers include: Kyle Baker, Alison Ballard, Don Boyle, Nicholas Cantrell, Mark Carter, Bill Clineberg, Eric Fisher, Bryan Jacoutot, LeeAnn Jones, Todd Jones, Coby Nixon, John Rezac, Frank Virgin, Amy Weber and Rachael Zichella.

The Atlanta Legal Aid Society offers free civil legal aid for low income people across metro Atlanta. With five neighborhood offices, three offices in Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta hospitals, three county courthouse projects, a variety of self-help clinics and countless community education programs, Legal Aid lawyers and volunteers reach tens of thousands of people annually. More than 20,000 cases are represented by their staff of 75 attorneys and 1,200 volunteers every year.
