Taylor English Partner Jeffrey R. Kuester Named Among the World’s Leading Patent Lawyers by Intellectual Asset Management

Taylor English Duma LLP is pleased to announce that partner Jeffrey R. Kuester has been recognized by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) as a leading patent attorney in the IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals 2021 – a unique guide that identifies the top patent professionals in key jurisdictions around the globe. Clients and peers described Mr. Kuester as having “prosecuted patents for more than three decades as part of a varied contentious and non-contentious practice” and “a high-impact lawyer whatever comes up.” This marks the sixth time that Mr. Kuester has received this distinguished honor.

Mr. Kuester co-chairs Taylor English’s intellectual property department and leads its patent department. He handles all types of intellectual property issues, including litigation, preparation and counseling. As a registered patent attorney, Mr. Kuester has been preparing and prosecuting patents for more than 30 years, and also has extensive trademark and copyright experience.

Mr. Kuester currently serves as a special assistant attorney general for the State of Georgia for intellectual property matters. He is also a former adjunct professor of intellectual property law at Georgia State University College of Law, where he serves as vice chair of the Intellectual Property Advisory Board and organizer of the Corporate IP Institute.

In addition to being listed in the IAM Patent 1000, Mr. Kuester has also been recognized as a leading practitioner in intellectual property by Chambers USA and as a patent star by Managing Intellectual Property.
