Conversations with TED: Supply Chain Challenges in the Restaurant Industry

In this episode of Conversations with TED, I address the topic of supply chain challenges. Restaurants depend heavily on supplies as they are critical to the success of the business. I identify a number of supply chain issues from truck drivers to available products, noting the need for ongoing adaptation. Opportunities include: stricter inventory management, vendor and contract review, implementation of software for efficiencies, considering menu changes, adjusting delivery days and continuing to monitor all data to drive informed decisions.
