Georgia NIL Bill Signed into Law

As expected, Governor Kemp signed the Name, Image, Likeness Bill or HB 617, providing state authority for the allowance of student-athletes in the state to enter licensing and endorsement deals. The governor signed the law this morning at UGA.

Along with Florida and a handful of others the Georgia bill is set to take effect July 1.

Governor Kemp signed a bill into law allowing them to make money off their image. It’s called the Name, Image, Likeness Bill or HB 617.
