The author is correct...the evolution to flexible work environments was well underway before the pandemic forced the hand of many employers. Our law firm, for example, has had happy, productive professionals (attorneys and staff) working remotely throughout the country for more than 3 years. We also have a "hub" office in Atlanta where in-person collaboration is intentionally fostered by space design.
