Dr. Rochelle Walensky, an infectious disease physician tapped to lead the CDC, has stated that she will extend the eviction moratorium until March 31, 2021. Property owners and management companies should watch for the actual extension order to see if there are any changes in the moratorium other than an extension of time from Jan 31, 2021 to March 31, 2021.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention says it will extend a nationwide ban on evictions until at least March 31 in an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 at a crucial time.
