New Guide for Preventing Child Abuse

One of the centers at Johns Hopkins has issued a guide for child protection policies for youth-serving organizations.  It is lengthy, but has some excellent ideas and suggestions.  You can read the highlights and download the entire guide at the link.  The guide is an important addition to the literature and should be a resource for every administrator of youth organizations.

Improved academic achievement. Stronger relationships with parents and peers. Reduced risk-taking behaviors. These are just some of the positive outcomes that hundreds of millions of children and teens experience by participating in youth serving organizations.
